Bhishma is a 1962 Indian Telugu-language Hindu Epic film, based on the life of Bhishma from the epic Mahabharata.

Follows the story of a freedom fighter couple, Santhamma and Dharmarao, during the British Raj.

When asked by the king what his ambition is, prince Pratap says he wants to marry four celestial maidens. The angered king exiles him and Pratap sets off on a quest to find the maidens.

The film told, apart from the main story of the friendship between Krishna and Kuchela, a few sequences from the Bhagavatha

1960 Telugu biographical film based on the life of the great Sanskrit poet Kalidas.

Ramadasu, a perpetual debtor, wants his son Raghu to marry Manjari in order to acquire Mukunda Rao's assets. But Raghu is already married to Leela and Manjari loves Raja, Leela's brother. Raja and his friend Bhaja Govindam hatch a plan to teach everyone a lesson.

Lakshmi is a child orphaned by the death of her parents lives in the house of her uncle. Her aunt (Suryakantam) loves her daughter Kathyayani (Janaki) and neglects and harass Lakshmi. Hence she goes to her grandfather's house. Her grandfather also dies, forcing her to go back to the uncle's house. Once the marriage proposal for Kathyayani turns towards Lakshmi. Taking the blame of her aunt, she left home and reaches Tirupathi to commit suicide.

Balarama promises Subhadra that he'll marry his daughter to her son. But when the Pandavas lose their kingdom to the Kauravas, Balarama breaks his promise.

Ramu changes his identity to help Roopa as she gets disabled because of him.
