Two construction workers in Hamburg have to deal with the residents of a skyscraper within a day - because on the one hand it is to be demolished shortly and on the other hand no one was informed about it in advance. Various disputes and strange incidents result only the tip of the iceberg, in which even the first mayor of the city is involved!

Flora, a librarian, is hitchhiking to a job in a faraway town. Simple-hearted plumber Tim is headed to the Black Forest, a cow for his nuptials in tow. But when their paths intersect, the cow isn't the only one who loses its bearings. In this quixotic road movie, Flora is an endearing handful — misplacing the cow, then adding a runaway to Tim's cargo load — and soon Tim's wedding plans are fading from view.
