NJPW Resurgence 2021 was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) that took place on August 14, 2021, at the Torch at LA Coliseum in Los Angeles, California, headlined by Lance Archer (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.

Battle in the Valley 2021 was a New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) pay-per-view held on November 13, 2021, at the San Jose Civic in San Jose, California, headlined by Jay White (c) vs. Tomohiro Ishii for the NEVER Openweight Championship.

Final Battle was a professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by American promotion Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place on December 11, 2021 at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The event was the 20th under the Final Battle chronology, and was billed as "The End of an Era", as it was the last Ring of Honor event to be held before the company goes on a hiatus, expecting to resume operations in April 2022.
