Babin, Dolly, and Tyre are three slum kids with big dreams of becoming a doctor, nurse, and engineer. When Babin's father falls critically ill, they steal an oxygen cylinder that sets off a chain of events.

An existential playwright and novelist Isha reads her novel to her partner, Agnibha, who is a ruthless critic. While in the middle of the reading, Agnibha presents his critical viewpoints, which initiates a discourse between them and unveils the cobweb of complexities in their love-hate relationship. Agnibha suggests a different ending to Isha's story. Will Isha understand Agnibha's point of view and change the ending of her novel? or Will this lead to more complexities in their lives?

Based on real-life events, the film follows the ups and downs in the career of a gifted female footballer named Kusumita Das. Her rise to fame and her subsequent fall following an injury will be a test of her endurance, and how she survives the ordeal through sheer willpower, resilience and some help from a sports reporter forms the crux of the story.

The story revolves around a hotel named "Shah Jahan Regency" and lives of people associated with that hotel. The hotel is one of a kind and very different from others as it strongly believes in the rich culture of India and tries to imply and maintain that in every aspect of the hotel - starting from the decor, to uniforms of the staff members, to the names given to various parts of the hotel.

Raktokorobi is a 2017 Indian Bengali film directed by Amitava Bhattacharya, starring Kaushik Sen, Rahul, and Shantilla Mukherjee. It was released in Hollywood as Red Oleanders Raktokarobi with English subtitles.
