The story follows five girls in their thirties, close friends from childhood. They grew up in the suburbs, sharing every moment of growing up. As life often does, their interests took them in different directions, and their friendship suffered consequences. However, after a long time, they get together on the occasion of the wedding of one of them.

A Serbian-born actress who lives in Berlin comes to Belgrade to play role in the project called "State". The encounter with her girl friend who deals with her family's past, encourages her to discover the past of her own family as well, which leads her to unlikely findings.

Slavisa suffers from the Alzheimer's disease and his life in the community is becoming more complex, both for himself and for his household. His daughter and son-in-law are of the view that it is time for Slavisa to be placed in a nursing home. Slavisa desperately tries to convince them and show them that everything with him is still all right. With time this becomes more and more difficult to prove.

Lawyer Radmilo, the most eligible bachelor, has spent years in love with Ljiljana, refusing all other offers of marriage. He wants to marry Ljiljana, but she plans to marry Momchila.

Life path of Serbian princess Olivera, youngest daughter of King Lazar and Queen Milica, which is given as a peace offer to Sultan Bajazit's harem.

Jasna, a beautiful teenager, leads a crude life in post-war Serbia. She goes on a spree of sex, drugs and partying until she finds love and tenderness in a harsh environment.

1st STORY: The Waiting Room. Vanja and Dara, women of the middle-age, from different social status, met in the hall of the waiting room of a hospital, waiting to be called to prepare for abortion. This unexpected meeting will start a lot of questions in their mind, and make them reconsider their decision. 2nd STORY: The Road. A country, somewhere in Serbia: mother is taking her daughter, along the road, to the doctor who lives alone in a wagon, in which he makes illegal abortions. All over that journey there is collision between mother's traditional attitude against pregnancy before marriage and daughter's youthful wish for a birth of a new life from love. 3rd STORY: Water. Nada, a young woman in late twenties, remembered in a prison cell, the tragical events which made her kill her husband. In the hospital, where she was taken by a police car, for making abortion of his child, she met a person, who she didn't expect to meet.

This performance, a monument to the Serbian language, culture and history, was created in Orašac, in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the modern Serbian state.
