The event took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, marking AEW's first PPV event held in a baseball stadium and in Texas. It was also the first professional wrestling event ever held at Globe Life Field.

The 2025 WrestleDream was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It was the third WrestleDream event and took place on October 18, 2025, at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri. Like the previous events, this was a tribute event in honor of New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) founder Antonio Inoki, who passed away on October 1, 2022, and was headlined by Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin in an I Quit Match.

Full Gear 2025 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW) that took place on November 22, 2025 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and was headlined by Adam Page (c) vs. Samoa Joe in a Steel Cage for the AEW World Championship.

In the main event of the evening is one of the most anticipated matches when Hangman Page defends the AEW World title against CM Punk. This will be the fifth defence for Hangman Page since he won it from Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear 2021. CM Punk is ranked at number 1 singles wrestler in AEW ranking.
