Japan, 2024. The Earth is dominated by a mysteriously giant creature (That Thing) and the group of 12 survivors has formed an uneasy community out of necessity to survive Two years later, Hirayama, the hotel owner, is found dead. Is it suicide or murder? As they search for the truth behind his death, the past and the secrets of each individual are revealed.

Hiroto works at a construction site, Futaba works at a flower shop, and daigo works at a design studio. their life seems to flow as usual, but something begins to change when they think about today and what awaits them in the future. this is a story about youth, about love and everything connected with it.

2 days until the “Last Graduation Ceremony” of high school, the building was to be demolished. Each student accepted their “farewell to youth” and moved forward with regret and hope in mind. One student visits the library to meet her secret admirer who is also her teacher, one calls her boyfriend with a strained relationship due to the distance of their colleges, one is trying to expose a secret that she hid for the last 3 years, and the last student, Manami, has to give a speech during the graduation ceremony but couldn’t overcome her pain.

One day, Tatsumi, a lonely underworld worker, comes across the murder scene of his ex-girlfriend Kyoko. Tatsumi escapes with Kyoko's younger sister, Aoi, who was with her. On the other hand, Aoi, who has lost her beloved family and vows revenge, pursues the murderer of Kyoko. Tatsumi, who is at loggerheads with the impudent Aoi, decides to accompany her on her journey for revenge, and as he cooperates with her, a certain feeling begins to develop.

Set in a barbershop in a small town by the sea, this is a story about a quiet but passionate one-hour encounter between an old owner and a young customer.
