Irina Björklund plays Isabella, a priest who returns to her hometown, a small town in Ostrobothnia. However, her past does not leave her in peace. Flashbacks take us back decades: Isabella's unrequited love for Andreas, her best friend Charlotta's relationship, and the tragic events of her childhood home remain unresolved. There is tension between Isabella and Charlotta's current husband Andreaks, which leads to a secret relationship. There is genuine chemistry between Björklund and Franzén, who are a married couple in real life. Their powerful chemistry convinces us that this is not a story of revenge, as the subtitle "faith, revenge, and love" might suggest. Love seems to be the strongest emotion of all.

He is also contacted by inspector Jansson, who he knows from the past regarding the murder of a protestor. Raid begins his investigation and soon finds that there's more to the cases than meets the eye.
