The popular Pygmalion formula, popularized in the Hollywood musical "My Fair Lady," gets a decidedly Hong Kong cinema twist in this bawdy comedy. Sam, a successful gigolo whose skill with the ladies is only exceeded by his impeccable taste, teaches Chinese mainlander Chung Siu-Hung how to be a call girl.

An idealistic hospital intern contends with cost-cutting measures and endemic corruption while lusting after a sweet social worker who just happens to be the lover of the facility's crooked administrator.

Carole and Mandy have just become neighbors in a luxury apartment complex. Mandy is a successful career woman, educated and independent. Carole is a kept woman, dreaming of the day when her businessman lover will divorce his wife to marry her. Through Mandy, Carole meets Edgar, a neurotic headwaiter. She breaks off her affair with the businessman, but Edgar is still masochistically involved with his old girlfriend Alice. Carole realizes that she still has a lot to learn about life. And nothing is going to stop her from learning it.

Social worker Sandy emigrated to Canada with her father when she was young. With the encouragement of her father, she decided to come back to Hong Kong to develop her career. Her father also has a mission to find his missing wife.
