On October 11, 1424, Hussite commander Jan Žižka breathed his last breath near the castle in Přibyslav. With a little exaggeration, it can be said that he never actually died, as he immediately entered national mythology as the prototype of a brilliant military leader and a true Czech. The revolutionary events then took a slightly different course than he would have liked, but his legacy remained ever-present among the Hussites. To this day, Žižka lives on in our society, with books written and films made about him. But even after 600 years of uninterrupted interest, a significant question mark remains over the Trocnov warrior: What was he really like? A deeply religious warrior of God, or just an ordinary medieval cutthroat? Leading Czech historians, headed by Professor Petr Čornej, are attempting to answer this question.

The fairy tale tells the story of a royal couple who cannot have children. With the help of a magical prop, they finally succeed, but in double measure. They give birth to twins. Which prop is responsible for this? Well, take a guess, or better yet, take another look at the title of the fairy tale. When the boys grow up and one of them is supposed to take over the joys and responsibilities of ruling, an unsolvable problem arises: should it be Vojta or František? We won't reveal the plot with all its twists and turns, but one thing is certain: the boys set out into the world with the understanding that the one who can perform the greater heroic deed will become king. The princes, even though they are not exactly cut out for it, take on the task with all their vigor and responsibility.

The staff at the White Cat Inn watch with concern and suspicion as Johan, the postman, pays frequent visits. This dapper, suave gentleman persistently courts Kristýna, the widowed innkeeper, even though he otherwise despises the locals. Kristýna's son Vítek dislikes him. And even more so when Johan tries to drive his pet and protector of the inn, the white cat, out of the house! Vítek, Kristýna's servants, and her friend, the poacher Prokop, are determined to get rid of Johan or at least make his life miserable. And things start to happen at the inn...

The fates of ten characters are swept up in a whirlwind of love. It is a short film: ten episodes – ten variations on love. The protagonists are people from the contemporary upper middle class – those who have managed to earn some money or have acquired it through marriage and do not know how to use it wisely, who, if they are men, consider women...

At least the second victim of a sexual deviant has been discovered in the game reserve of the Hvězda summer palace. The heroine of our story, Olina, a classmate of the murdered 13-year-old girl, has a secret: an unknown man calls her and discusses her adolescent problems with her in a hushed voice.

This fairy tale, based on an old French legend, takes place in the Middle Ages at the court of King Pepin. The king wants to marry and, on the advice of Duke Akilon, decides to court the Hungarian princess Bertha. Although the princess has a physical flaw—her feet are too large—Pepin does not care much about that. He remembers how he was friends with Bertha as a little boy and even then admired her bravery. Duke Akilon therefore sets off for Hungary to ask for Princess Bertha's hand in marriage for his king. However, he has his own plan and has no idea what will thwart it.

The third and final installment of the fairy-tale fencing comedies Crossed Swords and Ringing Swords. Once again, they are full of intrigue and misfortune, but also the search for happiness and love. The villain, Count Meron, attempts to poison the young king, seize the throne, and pin the blame on the innocent Peter. New characters also play a significant role in the story - the camp follower Vilma and her young daughter Jana, who is disguised as a boy out of fear of bandits. Love naturally reaches its goal, evil in the form of Count Meron is punished, and the inevitable fairy-tale happy ending follows...
