Lola and Luis are married until Manuel shows up and grabs Lola (and Trini, a florist friend and also a singer). This story of torn love will seem like the lyrics of a copla, the Spanish music genre to which both are dedicated, songs that border on love until death and that classically represent the absolute surrender of women to love. This love for Manuel divides the marriage and the friends.

Camilo undertakes a journey that will take him from the cane fields to Las Puertas del Cielo, a brothel where he will meet Mecha. There he will wake up from his unconsciousness in the midst of the passions, interests and violence that move the world of money and politics of the time.

While working on a thesis about audiovisual violence, film student Ángela finds a snuff video where a girl is tortured until death. Soon she discovers that she was a former student in her university, and that the authors of the video are not very far either.

A group of people, both men and women, get together to exchange their points of view, practical and theoretical, about sexual life and the relations between couples.
