Abbas Al-Aflatouni (Ismail Yassin), the grocer, went to Alexandria to redeem an olive message, anchovy, and cheese. Abbas Al-Platoni, the lawyer thought it the famous star, and was welcomed by the Locanda workers everywhere he goes, and the guest Hilal Bey Moon (Abdul Nabi Muhammad) watched him seeking the accompaniment of celebrities and their pride.

The story of the work revolves around three young people (Anwar), (Mohsen) and (Majdi), who live in one apartment, and events escalate when Anwar gets to know the Cohen family consisting of father, mother and two daughters Rachel and Esther, expecting Rachel to love her, then she seeks to blackmail him as the father of her child, He tries to accuse his friends of the events.

In a dramatic atmosphere, the film tells the story of a family whose members suffer greatly, as the head of the family, "Shaker", forces his daughter to marry the man he chose, even though she loves someone else. In addition, "Samiha", Shaker's wife, is sick and paralyzed. In his desire to improve the situation, Shaker asks for a new secretary to help his wife, and from here things become very complicated as "Ibtisam" is appointed to the job. Shaker begins to doubt everyone around him except Ibtisam, and refuses to take medicine from anyone except her, so the events take a new dramatic turn.

When a shop owner refuses to hire him, he yells that he is the only one with an official certificate that proves he is actually sane. We follow his miserable search for a job and watch situations in which, over and over again, he gets very close to a decent life just before his unrestrained tongue reveals a side of his madness that freaks people out. Andeel is an honest, kind person who’s good at what he does, but people’s uncontrollable fear of madness makes them want to get rid of him and the uncomfortable state he puts them in, probably because of how normal he seems, just like them, yet how crazy he is, like they fear they might be.

Kamal is a thief who finds a broken watch among his stolen items so he puts it aside. It turns out that the watch contains hypersensitive microfilm about military sites, and he becomes followed by the police and the spies who want the watch.

Lillian is a Jewish dancer who has a number of admirers, including Farid, a wealthy lonely young man. Lillian leaves Farid in order to go to Palestine. Farid then meets Goaher, another dancer. Goaher is married to El Saba’i, who along with his colleague Simbel, protect her. Goaher refuses to give any of what she earns to El Saba’i, so Saba’i attempts to ambush, rob, and kill Farid, and events ensue.

The doctor proposes to the daughter of one of the village's wealthy men, but the girl's father agrees to the engagement, but on one condition: that the doctor give up the piece of land he owns because the girl's father believed that this land had oil.

A husband and his wife suffer from permanent disputes between them, and the husband notices that all his acquaintances suffer from the same problem with their wives, so he decides to establish a secret society to kill wives, while the wife owns the building in which they live and insists on evicting the residents of the roof, due to their delay in paying the rent, while a love story arises between one of them and the daughter of the building owner.
