Set in the Sengoku Period, Torakage is retired ninja. He lives his life peacefully, but turmoil comes as he becomes involved a fight over treasures.

As the sole survivor of a horrendous and rather mysterious accident, teenage Mitsuko's day is off to a bad start. An unstoppable force of nature, a doomed field trip, and a strange case of amnesia easily coexist in a bizarre parallel universe, where a desperate Mitsuko is always on the run from something inexplicable, intangible, and utterly deadly. However, amid piles of fresh corpses, mounds of scorching bullet shells, and rivulets of fragrant adolescent blood, Mitsuko must fight to stay alive, before her already messed-up day becomes even stranger. But one question still remains: who or what is the enemy?

In an alternate Japan, territorial street gangs form opposing factions collectively known as the Tokyo Tribes. Merra, leader of the Wu-Ronz tribe of Bukuro, joins forces with heavy-hitting gangster Buppa of Buppa Town. With Buppa's support, Merra aims to initiate a gang war between the Wu-Ronz and the Musashino Saru, and in a confrontation between the two attempts to kill Kai of the Musashino Saru. The inadvertent murder of Kai's friend Tera (a Musashino Saru member beloved by all Tribes since before their formation) leads to the joining of forces between all of the Tribes in an all-out war against Merra and Buppa.

Four girls take part in illegal underground fighting event "Girl's Blood" held at an abandoned school building in Roppongi every night. The girls have their own stories and quirks from their private lives. Satsuki (Yuria Haga) suffers from a gender identity disorder, Chinatsu (Asami Tada) ran away from an abusive husband, Miko (Ayame Misaki) is a S&M queen and Mayu (Rina Koike) has a Lolita face.

While inspecting a wharf, young Amano, president of an urban planning company, meets beautiful laborer Takako and falls in love at first sight. However, she does not return his affections, so he steals her ID card and goes on the run from the infuriated Takako.

Beauty in the eyes of 4 filmmakers. Kurosawa Kiyoshi's Beautiful New Bay Area Project finds it in a kung-fu fighting young woman with a particular sense of honor. From China, Lu Yue's 1 Dimension reinvents a childlike Buddhist fable about good and evil. For Taiwan's Wu Nien-Jen and Hong Kong's Mabel Cheung, beauty resides in reconciliation and new hope. Wu's A New Year, the Same Days happens over New Year when a retired old man leaves home, while Cheung's Indigo takes place during Christmas, with Elaine Jin playing an aging dance teacher with two troublesome children.

Usagi just wants to spend time with Mamoru, but Professor Tomoe and Death Lamia have other plans. They send their Death Nightmares to give Usagi an evil dream about the terror to come. With help from Count Dracul, they try to steal the Sailor Senshi's Star Seeds to create the perfect artificial life - the Homunculus. One after another, things get worse as more tragedies occur. Can the Sailor Senshi battle Tomoe, the Samael Sword, and the mysterious Death Vulcan?
