Chandran Pillai, a widower, travels to Madirasi in order to buy a cycle for his beloved son. However, his trip turns eventful after he gets unwittingly entangled in a kidnapping plot.

Sena, a hard working man, works for a criminal named Masthan, to help his brother Arvind in becoming a lawyer. Problems arise when Arvind is killed by Masthan for raising his voice against him.

Kadhal Sadugudu is a love-comedy movie directed by the director Durai of Mugavari fame. It stars Vikram and Priyanka Trivedi in the lead roles, with Prakash Raj in the supporting role of Priyanka's father. It flopped miserably at the box-office.The film starts off with Prakash Raj, and how he's an important man in the village. when the temple festival starts,Kausalya(Priyanka) goes to her grandpa's house to celebrate. there she meets Suresh(Vikram) and they fall in love.

Ram's friends hire Maggie, a call girl, to help him get over his wife, who mistakenly believes him to be a philanderer. However, they get in trouble when Maggie ends up dead.

Joseph (Ajayan) and Sudha (Anjali) get married against their parents' wishes and they elope with their friends' help. Sudha's father (Vincent Roy), a politician, wants to kill Sudha and her friends. They arrive at a beach resort where they meet an old man (Thalaivasal Vijay) who warns them about the dangers at the resort. He tells them that the place is haunted and murders can take place. The friends arrange for the couple's honeymoon, ignoring his pleadings to vacate the place. However, in the forest, all the friends get murdered one by one, it turns out that the old man was the one who committed these killings as he explains his flashback of his granddaughter getting killed in the name of sacrifice by unscrupulous businessmen for the sake of buying the forest where the resort has been built as for that he kills each and every person who visits this resort. In the end, the old man gets stabbed and Arun and his lover escape from the place being worried about the situation.

Sridhar, a womaniser, meets his match when he tries to seduce Shanthi, who refuses to fall for him. Later, he learns that Shanthi has a hidden motive for resisting his advances.

A forest smuggle, lives in the jungle and smuggles sandalwood. He is also involved with other anti-social behaviour and forest controlling activities like robberies, dacoity, murders and drug pedalling. He consequently kidnaps an electrician Rahul and takes him to the jungle, forcing him to teach him how to make explosives. Rahul refuses to help create bombs and is subsequently falsely accused of murder. The rest of the story is about how Rahul proves his innocence to police investigators

Badri (Vijay) is a troublemaker and a source of heartburn for his father (Kitty). So the father pins his hopes on his elder son, Vetri (Riyaz Khan), to win the kickboxing championship. Janu (Bhumika Chawla), Badri's neighbour, is in love with him but it is just one-sided as Badri considers her a good friend and a source of money (and since her dad is a garage owner, his gateway to new cars to impress the other girls). He falls in love with Mamathi (Monal), a rich girl, and poses as a rich guy to impress her. But he soon realises his mistakes and when his brother becomes bedridden, he decides to redeem himself in his father's eyes by fighting in the championship match. He finally redeems himself by defeating his opponent and at the same time, accepts Janu's love.
