The film tells the story of Raquel, Rodolfo and Hernán, members of a brigade at the UNAM during the student movement in Mexico in 1968. Through their photographs, films and writings, we will know the history of the day that the army took the university and how their students united, shouted and never forgot.

Iliteracy today seems to be a small problem globally, but it is hell for the individual illiterate that struggles alone in a hyper communicative era.

In 2033, Mexico City is a hot, mechanical and chaotic megacity ruled by the military and a tyrannical government. It is an oppressed society with its religious faith and liberty of expression stolen. Pablo, the main character, is a young finantial yuppie that gets shelter in drugs and alcohol. He leaves his privileged life in order to help the unprotected and destroy the system that controls the population.

Emilie Kappelhoff runs the household for her brother Julius. One day she discovers a savings book with a balance of 350,000 DM, which he wanted to keep secret from the family. Emilie and the children believe they have hit the jackpot, which will solve all their money worries. They quickly spread the news. Suddenly, many so-called friends come forward.
