A recollection of a night spent walking the streets of the Eternal City, following the steps of two young boys: Vlad, a modern Romanian boy of life, and Cosimo who has just moved to the city. Both cross the city from head to toe in search of redemption, liberation or perhaps a place to hide. To find it they will go as far as the sea, as far as the body of a young prostitute, but they will find it, perhaps, only in the feeling that brings them together and binds them.

An insatiable nymphomaniac with a wheelchair-bound writer husband finds that her lurid exploits rejuvenate his creativity and libido, but soon enough, all of her lovers end up being murdered by an unknown assailant.

Nino is a pianist, he runs into Valentina in the underground and falls for her. Valentina is rich but she tells nothing to Nino who is proud. Andrea was the boy of Valentina before Nino and wants to marry her for her money. Nino leaves Valentina when he finds out that she is rich while Andrea, turned down again, kidnaps Valentina.

While his girlfriend recovers from a medical procedure, a corrupt lawyer becomes entranced by the grand visions of a mob boss.

The exploitation of young men as prostitutes in the district around the Roman coliseum is the focus of Simon Bischoff's documentary and fiction piece that spares no close-up view of male anatomy. This latter trait reveals just as much about the tenor of this film as it does about the body. Several years earlier, Bischoff met the main 17-year-old protagonist here, "Er Moretto," when he was just a 13-year-old runaway. The intervening years show how he changed into a streetwise vendor of sex, and Bischoff also details how the 17-year-old is picked up by a middle-aged man to be his companion. Fiction segments do not fare as well as the documentary aspects of this work, which in the end, seems at least ambiguous, if not questionable, in its intent.

Two minstrels singing for their supper in Rome discover they've both been lovers to the same woman, and one of them is the father of her infant son; a privilege neither is willing to concede.

A moralistic judge declares war on pornography. His gay nephew, who lives with a transvestite, tries to save himself and also protect his friend Ana, a porn actress.
