Namibia: The Struggle for Liberation is a 2007 epic film on the Namibian independence struggle against South African occupation as seen through the life of Sam Nujoma, the leader of the South-West Africa People's Organisation and the first president of the Republic of Namibia.

Five star (hotel) is a sarcastic reference to the Pretoria prison which is central to the plot. An inmate Skollie (A nickname meaning delinquent) escapes from jail with one desire, to be united with his son again. Life outside is much different to what Skollie remembers. Still behind bars are inmates Pappa, Priester and Polka, who are doing everything to prevent Skollie from being reunited with his son, even if that means they have to kill. Skollie discovers that Pappa might be responsible for the death of his mother and he vows revenge.

"Hoesê!" This is a film based on the South African sitcom by the same name; such name referring to the manual telephone system operated by one of the cast. In addition to the usual (mostly mature) cast, pretty girl Zoli Marki muddles things up. Add to this a mix-up with a heyday homelands casino for further comedy and confusion.

In order to prepare a meal for a visiting parishioner, one farmer shoots another farmer's buck. Hilarity ensues.
