Toshiki Takayama (Taka) and Oshita Yuji, who had retired as detectives and opened a private detective agency in New Zealand, returned to Yokohama for the first time in 8 years. One day, a Japanese lawyer living in Hong Kong is murdered. Taka, who felt suspicious about the incident, visits Liu Fei Long, a man who has a connection with the two in the past, but Taka is worried that Stella Lee, a business partner of Fei Long, who he met there, looks like his former lover. At the same time, a young woman named Ayaka Nagamine visited the pair at the "T&Y detective agency", asking for help in finding her mother. That family exerts tremendous influence around the region. The Tsukumo family seem like a well mannered family, but, in reality, they are a vicious family who will do anything for their own interests.

The story continues from the Japanese SIGNAL drama series. In 2021, a limousine taxi driver causes an accident on a highway, and a high-level government official dies in the accident. The cold case investigation unit, including Kento Saegusa and team leader Misaki Sakurai, have doubts about the case. Meanwhile, in 2009, administrative officers die consecutively in car accidents. In kindergarten, on telling others about his nightmare, Shinnosuke was surprised to know that everybody too had the same dream. Then a mysterious girl named Saki was transferred to Futaba Kindergarten and joined Shinnosuke's class.
