Don Donato and company go on a trip to Cinecittà World theme park, where Luna and Luigi have decided to spend their honeymoon. These are also important days for Gina, since she's now expecting, while Angelo, as always, is ready to look for new ways to earn easy money. Everything seems to be going well, but it's just wishful thinking.

Don Donato accompanies his congregation of villagers to visit Roma World, a theme park set in ancient Rome. Meanwhile, however, preparations for Luna and Luigi's wedding are interrupted by the arrival of the bishop's twin brother, Angelo, who is desperately searching for a hidden inheritance consisting of twelve gold bars. Don Donato joins the treasure hunt, taking advantage of the bishop's absence, who is away in Rome on a mission.

While preparations for the wedding between Luna and Luigi are in full swing, Angelo, the bishop's twin brother, unexpectedly drops into the rectory with the intention of recovering an inheritance that he has not yet pocketed: 12 gold bars.

In Pellizzano the town is in turmoil. There will be a casting for a horror film by director Rocco Siffredi and many are aspiring for 15 minutes of fame.

As the Christmas holidays approach, Don Donato, now a cardinal, is called back from Rome to assist his uncle the bishop. The latter, in fact, requires constant care.

Army colonel Gabriele Moresco and twelve of his soldiers occupy a hospital in Sicily, Italy, taking every patient and doctor as hostages and giving an ultimatum to the government: if they won't admit their role in hiding proof of the use of depleted uranium in the Balkan Wars and the subsequent countless cases of cancer among Italian soldiers in 56 hours, all the hostages will be killed. Walter starts giving him some old-hand advice on the matter.

A middle-class Italian family is tore apart when the father meets an old flame, the mother—a frustrated onetime actress—auditions for a play, their insecure son tries to make friends through drugs, and their underaged daughter—who has already figured out how to use sex to her advantage—does what she does best to appear on TV.
