A number of employees in a company are united by the desire to spend their annual vacation in a resort by taking a summer trip to the city of Ras El-Bar.Most of those who go to save the money for the trip in order to spend the vacation, especially Farid, who is a miserly man, the head of the family, and his daughter Samira, who dreams of a groom during the summer.

Aziza and her husband Abdullah are both day laborers who work on various farms. When Aziza is brutally raped by a guard while she is picking potatoes in a field, she tries to hide the pregnancy and plans to kill the baby once it is born.

The film takes place in a social drama framework, where (Nabila) works as a teacher in Cairo, and on her first day of work she quarrels with (Hoda), the spoiled and stubborn daughter of the former minister because of the death of her mother when she was young. Abdel Fattah, (Hoda's) father, invites Nabila to apologize to her, but he falls in love with her and marries her.

Laila is a young woman suffering from paralysis who lives with her stepfather after her mother died when she was two years old. She loves writing poetry. She sends her poems to the singer Mamdouh, who uses them in his songs, but Laila hides her true identity from him because she loves him and does not want him to see her disability, so that Mamdouh can reach her and be frank with her. With his love, a surprise happens that changes the course of events.

A widowed man lives with his four daughters, but he always preventing them from mixing or working, and when the father goes out on pension, he decides to invest his reward in a company that he later discovers has seized his money, so he falls down the stairs and enters the hospital injured, and the daughters are forced to go down to work.

The story of a family torn apart; the son goes to prison instead of his father for drug trafficking. While the other son marries a bad- tempered woman who abuses her mother-in-law forcing her to flee to work as a maid at a hospital.
