Three ferocious dogs keep a group of young people prisoners in the pool of a luxurious house they have snuck into, while neighbors gather at a nearby villa to celebrate the start of summer.

Mamántula is the boy everyone wants, but also a giant spider transvesting as a human, fruit of a brief encounter in the Berlin Tiergarten, in an alternate past of brutalist saunas, endless subway corridors and detectives with raincoats and hats. Ion used to live in Berlin. He lived there with his girlfriend Marta. He had two cameras, a 16 mm one and a video tape one. Ion used to record everything in his little universe: his room, his friends, his girlfriend, the restaurant he used to work in, his tattoos and the city landscape. One day, though, Marta left him. Now, he shoots the same spaces, but without her presence. The house is empty. A personal portrait of a city and a separation.

There are many ways to escape and many reasons to do it. Paula and Luis escape from sadness, reality and pain in their own way. Although he has decided to get off while driving and she prefers to ignore the obvious. This tragicomedy is the revealing dialogue of a conversation as surreal as it is impossible.
