Eva, a mysterious woman who lives in the forest, sets a field of sunflowers on fire. She tells the police commissioner who arrests her that she did it because the children are in danger and must be protected. Eva believes she has a mission and she talks like a preacher, a sort of Joan of Arc. She sees strange blue lights in the sky. Her case is associated with the mysterious disappearance of children that have been occurring in the area, even if the youngsters seem to gladly follow her around. In the meantime, in China, a woman is exasperated because her daughter is sick.

Pietro is a revered teacher, Teresa his brilliant and precocious student. Their affair is both illicit and tempestuous. After one fight, Teresa suggests that each tell the other a secret, one so shameful or shocking that were it to be made public, it would destroy that person’s life. I Soliti Idioti return to the cinema ten years after the second film and many things have changed in the world. We will see the most beloved characters compete with the contemporary, with the same cynical and amused eye that distinguished the previous episodes. This new adventure focuses on a current and universal theme: the family.

Until one day, a psychologist in charge of monitoring the mental state of inmates finds himself confronted with a prisoner over whom he's lost all control.

Candida has to integrate in a new school where she is bullied, as does her partner Jacopo. But thanks to her positivity, it will be Candida who will let Jacopo out of his isolation, making him discover that everything is good, even when it is not great.
