A best-selling author of women's issues and a medical academic find it is to their mutual advantage to falsely claim that they are married.

The male crook is sentence to six months on a prison farm populated by both men and women (segregated, of course). In the story, Dr. Huff is beating up process servers. While he doesn't mind that his wife is divorcing him, he feels he's too busy to go to court. Additionally, he's informed the hospital staff to NOT allow any of these process servers in the place. Unfortunately, Bobby (Bobby Vernon) is instructed to serve this angry doc.
