Seventeen year old female high school student Sadako Hashimoto is a lonely and bullied child. The homeroom teacher, Miyamoto, nagged and preached to the truant Satoko, sparking a desire. Satoko has aspirations for the female teacher Nanshunko, who has a relationship with Miyamoto. Unhealthy classmates Fumio and Meizhi discovered the photo of Shunko posted on Satoko's notebook, bullying her as a "pervert of Lace".

Married couple Fujijiro and Taeko live at the foot of Mt. Fuji with their 3-year-old daughter Natsuko. One day, Taeko is assaulted and later gives birth to Kanako. Unable to bear village rumors, Taeko commits suicide. 20 years later, Natsuko goes a quest to find the missing Kanako after seeing her picture in a gravure magazine...

Yoko has entered into a contractual marriage with Yuki, but the formal marriage has not yet taken place. In an attempt to resolve her feelings, Yoko decides to commit to the marriage, but Yuki begins to express a desire to return to his hometown.

A film adaptation (funded by Ken Togo) based on an expose book by a person involved in the Japanese entertainment industry of the time. The book describes among other things the drug-fueled parties, orgies of the entertainment business and what some celebrities like Johnny Kitagawa among others were allegedly up to in their free time. Basically giving an open-book about the secrets of the entertainment-world. The film adapts and portrays some of the shocking scenes of this book, focussing more on the gay-aspect of the expose.
