Joana, a 14-year-old teenage girl, shows up to spend a week with her father, Renato, a comedian who performs his shows in steak houses, bars and nightclubs in Fortaleza dressed as Silvanelly. Despite barely knowing each other, having had little contact so far, and leading very different lifestyles, father and daughter need to live together during this period of time. Together they will meet the young actor Marlon, live new experiences and try new feelings. This week together will profoundly transform their lives.

João and Pedro are cousins who meet for the first time since their childhood. They're dealing with the inheritance of their grandfather's farm, which is about to be sold to an industrial sugar mill. In four stories inspired by humorous tales by Ariano Suassuna, each created based on phrases by the poet from Paraíba, we meet Helder, Fabiano, Pierce and Lorena, living different situations where, ironically, the lie is always the protagonist.

Small-town trickster Pedro Malasartes has to face two great enemies: Próspero, who will do anything to impede such a lazy, cowardly person like Malasartes from dating his sister, Áurea; and Death incarnated, who wants to take a vacation after two thousand years collecting lives and intends on tricking Malasartes into assuming his tedious job.

The story of Brazilian poet Torquato Neto, who lived passionately through fracturous times and worked in several fields, including music, journalism, and cinema. He was an active participant in the revolution of Tropicália and marginal art, which changed the course of Brazilian culture in the 1960s and 1970s, until he committed suicide on his 28th birthday.
