The story follows Ah Can, played by Bill Tung, who travels from mainland China to Hong Kong to attend to the affairs of his recently deceased father, Fang Damao, a character also portrayed by Tung. While in Hong Kong, Ah Can is drawn into a whirlwind of events involving his gambling cousin. Along the way, he discovers his father’s hidden stash of valuable diamonds, sparking a series of comedic misadventures.

A homeless wanderer just happens across various articles of clothing that make him resemble Charlie Chaplin much to the amusement of passersby.

Master Chan (Jeffrey Chan) is a widely respected martial arts teacher who has several skilled understudies in the Los Angeles area.
