In 1951, the well-known Czech actress Jiřina Štěpničková receives a letter from Austria from director František Čáp, who has recently emigrated. He invites her to the West and promises her roles in theater and film. She decides to seize the opportunity and flee. Together with a small group of people and her young son Jirka, she entrusts herself to a smuggler and embarks on a risky journey across the border. But something goes wrong. They are caught. Everything had been planned in advance. The smuggler himself is a member of the StB. But that's only the beginning.

Horace was a guest at the home of his old friend Zdeněk, who lived in a secluded house on the shore of a lake with his current wife and his ex-wife. During his visit, Horace witnesses two strange deaths. However, not wanting to get involved in any more cases, he leaves the beautiful place without forming a clear opinion about the events. Two years later, however, circumstances cause him to doubt whether he did the right thing, so he goes to see Vašátko to get some clarity on the case. They both come to the conclusion that a murder took place in Zdeněk's home and also identify the perpetrator. All that remains is to convict him...

Taxi 121 is a Czech thriller inspired by real events from 2014, when a serial killer took the lives of three Prague taxi drivers. Officially, the police attribute the murders to a single perpetrator, who remains unknown to the public. The tragedy was the impetus for the making of this thriller, which quickly draws the viewer into the story and lets them experience a whole range of emotions, from fear to courage to hope. The film not only reveals to the viewer a possible motive for the murders, but above all offers an intense story of a young married couple, Matěj and Lucie, who do not give up even when they have practically no future ahead of them...

Friends and college classmates Petr and Mirek meet Katka, a student at the art academy. Petr falls in love with the charming painter, but Katka ultimately chooses Mirek. Their brief romantic relationship is interrupted by an argument and Mirek's internship abroad. Petr uses this as an opportunity to offer Katka a family and emotional foundation. After some time, when the two are living together in one house with her parents and Petr is patiently enduring the hardships of dependent cohabitation, Mirek suddenly returns from abroad. His unexpected visit only confirms Katka's belief that her marriage to Petr and her unsuccessful attempts to conceive a child are not fulfilling her.
