This film revolves around the perils of a dating app. A single woman is recommended an app, however the person she matches with is different to his photo. At the same time, a serial killer is stalking his latest victims also using the same app.

Moriyama Kosaku is released from a Hokkaido prison on parole. After he salutes the prison officers, he approaches a car that is stopped nearby. A mysterious woman Kana is waiting in the driver’s seat. Meanwhile, Kazami Tamiko’s aunt Suzue visits her ranch in Nakashibetsu and laments about the changes in Tamiko’s only son Takeshi. Five years ago, Kosaku was arrested right in front of the boy. That episode caused Takeshi to turn into a completely introverted and eccentric youth who obsessively plays the piano. Furthermore, Abuta comes over and expresses concern about junior high school music teacher Nishikawa’s frequent visits to the Kazamis. He proceeds to inform Tamiko that Kosaku has been released from prison. Even though Tamiko had attempted to forget Kosaku who never replied to any of the letters that she sent to the prison, the news makes her heart stir all of a sudden.

Newlyweds Nana and Shota move into an apartment. Two situations, different from the drama series, take place: "What if Shota attends the resident's meeting and not Nana?" and "What if exchange murder game doesn't begin?"

Komari Sano's parents ran a small Tokyo factory that manufactured aircraft parts. With her parents' influence, Komari Sano dreamed of becoming a pilot. During World War II, her older brother died as a kamikaze pilot and her parents died during the bombing of Tokyo. Komari Sano became an orphan and lived with her aunt. After long negotiations with the Supreme Commander of the Allied Powers, Sizuo Matsuki, who is the security chief of Civil Aviation Bureau, finally launched Japan's civil aviation. Komari Sano applies for the position of a cabin attendant.

Nagisa is transgender. She grew up in Hiroshima as a man, but now lives in Shinjuku, Tokyo as a woman. Due to an incident, she begins to live with middle school student Ichika, who is a distant relative. Ichika has been neglected by her mother Saori. From living in solitude by herself, to now living with Ichika, Nagisa develops maternal instincts for the first time.

1940, Kawamoto Akiko lives in Hiroshima with her father and mother, Genkichi and Shizuko, as well as her two younger brothers. Akiko loves playing her favourite piano. As the war situation worsens, she is busy helping out the war efforts. On the morning of August 6, 1945, she disobeys her father and heads into the centre of town for work. In Hiroshima 75 years later, her favourite piano remains, restored and playable following its survival of the atomic bombing
