It is the year 1988. Yamabuki is an eight-year-old little boy growing up in a traditional family where every family member has problems and secrets they try to hide from each other. The father runs a failing construction company and has an intimate relationship with another woman. The mother is struggling with severe depression, as she cannot cope with the death of her youngest child. The grandfather, who used to be a construction engineer, hopes to start building an amusement park, but to no avail. The grandmother runs a small store where she sells items of forged origin. The sister is fed up with the lies of her predecessors and is looking for a way to run away from home. In the midst of all this chaos, Yamabuki has started to find solace in patting an imaginary dog.

Ayako Koshino is rushed to the hospital in a critical condition, and as her three daughters rush to the scene, an angel appears before her. The angel tries to guide Ayako to a place where she will be judged between heaven and hell. Ayako looks back on her own life, including the opening of her western clothing store, her first love after the death of her husband in the war, and the brand she launched at the age of 74. The life of one woman who lived in the world of fashion as the mother of three sisters, Hiroko Koshino, Junko, and Michiko, Ayako's daughters who are each world-class designers.

This film is based on the book "Welcome to Le Jardin" by Akemi Mochizuki, owner of the high-end club "Le Jardin" in Ginza, Tokyo. Based on the original story, which has been released up to three installments in the series, the film depicts the club's state at the mercy of the COVID-19 pandemic and the anxieties and conflicts of the people who work there. Maiko, who works at the high-end Ginza club "Le Jardin," remembers how Mama Akemi, the owner, helped her during her job interview. She devotes her days to working hard for Mama and the club. Then, in 2020, COVID-19 spread worldwide, and the first cases were confirmed at Le Jardin. The spread of COVID-19 led to public questioning the value of restaurants and nightlife, and Le Jardin was forced to suspend operations. Maiko, anxious about her future, is helpless and spends her days holed up in her room.

In August, 1918, Matsuura Ito lives in a coastal village of Toyama with her husband and three children. Due to an incident, Ito and the other village women step up to the plate.

The best-selling "The Night Is Short, Walk on Girl" novel is a story set in Kyoto about a “Senpai” who has a crush on “The Girl with Black Hair”, his junior, and depicts how he gets caught up in various incidents by trying to draw her attention. Adopting the novel for this theatre play, Makoto Ueda, representative of popular theatre company "Europe Kikaku" based mainly in Kyoto, is leading as scriptwriter and director.

Patalliro du Malyner VIII is the crown prince of Malynera, a kingdom that produces diamonds. Despite being ugly and mischievous, he is loyal and fair.
