It's summer of 2002, and moving day is fast approaching for the Bouchard-Beauregard family. While Sophie, a devoted wife and mother, struggles to control the chaos in the house, a televised boxing match creates pandemonium within the already dysfunctional family.

Happy and accomplished, Ellias becomes the new artistic director of a famous French Haute Couture house. When he learns that his father, whom he has not seen for many years, has just died of a heart attack, Ellias goes to Quebec to settle the estate.
