It has been 50 years since ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo. But of all who celebrated there on the stage in Brighton, perhaps the biggest rock star of them all wasn't even in the band, but was instead a gentleman in a suit and mustache: Stikkan Anderson.

After ABBA won Eurovision in 1974 Sweden was tasked with hosting it the next year. This documentary tells the story of that production and places it in the social and political context of Sweden in 1975 and a music scene that was anything but supportive of the endeavour.

In the last year of the 60s, history gets the chance to breathe a little after the turbulent 1968. Pippi Longstocking rides into the television sets and the writers demonstrate for more compensation.
