Inspired by true events. Buenos Aires, 1979. Bill Evans, the great jazz pianist, arrives in Argentina for a series of concerts. One of them is in San Nicolás, a town in the province of Buenos Aires. Evans (a heroin addict for twenty years), along with his two musicians and his manager, get into the Argentine businessman's car. On the day of the concert, they learn they will be playing during the "Miss Winter 1979" pageant. Out-of-tune piano, boxing, drugs, death, memories, whiskey, and empanadas. In a town similar to his childhood, the impossible and the true collide for Evans.

The film narrates the historic event shared by these figures during one of the most disastrous moments in our history.

Two Uruguayan journalists embark on a journey of secrets, simulations, furtive encounters and paranoia when a mysterious informant contact them with the intention to reveal evidence of crimes by the military dictatorship that have never been investigated. The delivery is postponed repeatedly, patience runs out and anxiety grows, but the possibility of obtaining the information is stronger than any suspicion.

Pedro, an inexperienced conman, decides to rob a bank. When he tries to escape, the branch is surrounded by police. His hostage turns out to be Pablo, the husband of the daughter of the bank's owner. But the money never arrives, since Pablo's father-in-law decides not to pay and, to make matters worse, instead sends an assassin to kill off Pedro.

The film narrates the fate of each of these runaways in search of their destiny - tough men with their own ethical codes and ready to do anything not to return to prison. Some of them will suffer violent deaths, while others manage de disappear. Sordid and moving stories, not excluding tenderness and love, mercy or horror sealed with a pact of prison love that will remain in the heart of Buenos Aires, as witness of the yearned-for freedom.
