Eight-year-old maid Toha goes to great lengths to ensure that her best friend Nelly, the daughter of her wealthy employer, has a successful birthday party in this poignant debut feature exploring classism in modern-day Cairo.

A couple lives a normal family life with their two children, but their lives are suddenly turned upside down after they swap physical roles, where the wife becomes a man and the husband becomes a woman. Because of this, they find themselves in many funny situations and comedic ironies, and they discover different aspects of their marital relationship and the role of each of them in it, while trying to find a way to restore things to their original state.

The film's events revolve around a group of outlaw friends who engage in criminal and suspicious activities, but it leads them to major crises with dangerous consequences.
