Just 12 hours after having his daughter in the custody of a kidnapper, the influential communicator Sílvio Santos faces an even more complicated obstacle: his home is invaded and he is held hostage for seven hours. Realizing that his life is at risk, he seeks refuge in the distant thoughts of his entire trajectory, which began when he was just a 14 year old teenager working as a street vendor.

João (Gustavo Vaz) and Mariana (Andreia Horta), a couple in love who have their relationship interrupted in an untimely manner. 1943, World War II. The northeastern coast of Brazil is an strategic region for the Allies. Giancarlo, an Italian immigrant married to a Brazilian woman, lives nearby the Parnamirin Field, the largest military base built by the USA outside of their territory. In this new base, Brazilian recruits who speak English suddenly find themselves reaching privileged positions.

Rich and spoiled kid, frustrated for not being chosen to join the soccer lessons his idol Zico was going to give, asks his father to clone the player. But a small girl smells something fishy going on and asks her friends to help save the Brazilian soccer star.

This is a remake of Brazil's first international success in the cinema world. Just as its same name predecessor was, this film is a fictional version of the story of the "cangaceiros." These were bandits who sacked towns and spread terror throughout Northeastern Brazil in the 1930s. This group of outlaws is led by Captain Galdino and his wife Maria Bonita.
