The Greek cinematic adaptation of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol". Set in the mountainous villages of Epirus in northern Greece, the story follows Lykourgos and his family. On Christmas Eve, thanks to three uninvited spirits, Lykourgos will rediscover his lost sense of humanity and embrace a life filled with love and generosity.

In the early 19th century, Greece has just gained its independence from the Ottomans and Ioannis Kapodistrias is called upon to assume the role of its first governor. Popi falls in love with a much younger, sexy immigrant from Georgia and decides to marry him. The soi and the neighborhood, who consider the immigrant to be a bounty hunter, do everything to prevent the marriage, but also to pocket the small purse with the golden pounds that Popi's grandfather once hid somewhere.

Christmas Eve, in a camp somewhere on the Greek-Turkish border in Evros. A taxi pulls up outside the gate and drops off an unaccompanied baby. The taxi driver informs the guard post that the baby's mother is sending him to his father, who is serving in the army. That's when it all begins...

The story takes an unexpected turn when Roula suddenly stumbles upon the Green Sea and discovers Anna’s true identity.
