Tommaso and Pietro are two brothers who, shortly after their father's funeral, discover that the coffin is actually empty. To find out more they leave for Malaysia, where the man died, but a series of misunderstandings and false clues will take them around the world to discover other empty coffins and a father yet to be found and perhaps to know.

In a futuristic society, an old man tells the legend of a strange medal to two children. In flashback, we learn that after a nuclear catastrophe, two teenagers were living in an artificial paradise, maintained by electronic means, and once decide to leave that shelter and escape using that same medal - a mini video-disc - in search of outer-space freedom.

Plot of Fear tells the story of a decadent weekend party full of orgies and drugs on the outskirts of Milan. Inspector Lomenzo investigates a series of bizarre murders, each linked by the fact that pages from the German children’s book "Shock-Headed Peter" have been left at the scene of the crime. As the bodies pile up, Lomenzo is guided by a model and a surveillance expert to a decadent club frequented by the rich and powerful.
