Our story starts with Tonio, the son the bears King, being kidnapped by some hunters in the Sicilian mountains. Because of the harshness of a winter that threatens its clan with famine, the Bear King decides to invade the land of men (in the hope of finding his son). Thanks to his powerful army and the help of a wizard, he will succeed at both quests but he will soon find out that bears are not meant to live in the land of men.

Piaggio feels the enormous responsibility resting on his shoulders: the lives of so many families depend on his ability to create new jobs. Angelo is a forty-year-old messy man, nice but a bit of a scoundrel. Thanks to this resemblance, Angelo shows up at the funeral, staging a dramatic and heartfelt condolence, and then shows up at George's villa declaring that he is his brother...

After her longtime marriage ends painfully, a lawyer finds new purpose by working at a refugee center, where she meets a child that changes her life.
