In the play The House is Haunted, a man buys a house with a history for a great price. He moves there with his two adult children during the day and his new Lebanese wife joins them that night. All he wants is to consummate his marriage, but his children and a spectral presence in the house get in his way. Though, all may not be as it seems.

The events take place when Abu Obeid moves with his sons Obaid and Sabeeka to a new house, after marrying Samar to his first wife, who refuses to come with them to the house, and at home they discover the presence of ghosts

The events of the play take place in a singles’ house inhabited by dozens of people of different nationalities, and it sheds light on the solutions to the problems, concerns and suffering of singles in Kuwait in general, whether they are expatriates or citizens, in a purposeful critical comedic framework. It also alerts the competent authorities in the country to a number of illegal violations and transgressions and presents Some positive solutions to this problem that society suffers from before the state.
