In the snowy Giant Mountains at the end of the German occupation, a group of child heroes rescue a downed French pilot. Their actions resemble the principle of the well-known 'telephone game' – the pilot is passed between mountain villages like a secret message – secret delivery – at school. But the children play a highly risky game. They are confronted by deadly soldiers of the occupying army, they must outwit traitors and informers and, last but not least, survive in the harsh conditions of winter in the mountains.

Kateřina went to the doctor, who found out that her kidneys were failing and the only long-term solution was a transplant. So to give or not to give? This is the question Daniel must solve. Will he offer his wife a kidney, which may cost him his life, or will he not offer, which may cost him marriage? And how will their friends Erik (Mira Nosek) and Diana (Barbora Seidlová), who hoped to enjoy a carefree weekend and celebrate Kateřina's birthday together, step in?

Two neighboring clans and two different approaches to life. What happens when the strained relationship of two domineering fathers interferes with the love of their own children?

A wealthy middle-aged man at the airport witnesses a tiny incident involving an unknown, perhaps Arab, young man and airport staff. After the young man is confronted directly at the airport toilets, he feels himself subject to an indefinable but increasingly serious sense of danger. One night in their inherited flat, the doorbell rings and standing at the door is Jirka’s mother Valerie. An initially brief call turns into a never-ending visit from an intense and caustic diva whose presence fundamentally disrupts the couple’s privacy. Certainties are shaken, boundaries broken.

What was supposed to be a joyful celebration over the dissolution of Czechoslovakia turns chaotic when the Varchal family discovers that their father betrayed both country and family by working for the secret police. The family members turn against each other.

Matúš is a talented musician, who left his successfully developing career, when his adoptive mother fell ill. After her death, he’s living with his stepbrother Dávid and together they go through life, each in their own way. While Dávid takes what life gives him, Matúš feels frustrated by his failed ambitions. On his way to their fulfillment, he meets his old schoolmate Albert, who opens doors to the „better“ world for him.
