Paris, at the beginning of the 21st century. Edouard is a painter, Charles is a poet. The two artists are friends, but their adverse circumstances begin to weigh on them. Gulcan, a foreigner, suddenly appears. He has an idea.

Two brothers, Pierre and Vladimir, wonder if their Russian grandparents, Lily and Constantin, worked for the Soviet secret services in Paris during the 1930s and 1940s. Their research begins in Russia. After meetings and conversations, yellowish photos and vodka glasses, a lost world begins to emerge harassing the present.

Alain lives locked up in a large house with his husband, Raphael. They were about to renovate the place and turn it into a bed and breakfast. A new virus, still unknown, poisoning the air, stops them in their dream. Alain is now obsessed with the idea of protecting Raphael, whose health is fragile.
