One of sports-entertainment's most patriotic traditions, The Great American Bash brought excitement to fans of the NWA and WCW for over a decade. It featured legends like Sting, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, Hulk Hogan, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, the New World Order (nWo), the Road Warriors and more, competing for pride, honor and championship gold. This red, white and blue extravaganza always delivered the fireworks.

For close to a decade, professional wrestling fans loved Clash of the Champions, a series of supercards that aired on TBS, featuring the biggest stars of first NWA and the WCW. Over the course of 35 events from 1988 through 1997, fans were treated to championship contests, grudge matches, and spectacular moments. Many of these matches have never been released on home video until now. The Best of the Clash of the Champions, hosted by 3-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Hall of Famer, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, will highlight some of the greatest matches in the event’s ten-year history and features fan favorites Ric Flair, Sting, The Road Warriors, Lex Luger, the Four Horsemen, the nWo, and so many more.

In 1983 World Class Championship Wrestling and its franchise stars, the Von Erich brothers, were known around the world. A small Dallas based promotion running out of a shack of a venue, the Sportatorium, World Class was one of the most syndicated television programs in America, making the Von Erichs household names. Run by legendary wrestler Fritz Von Erich, a.k.a. Jack Adkinsson, World Class made his oldest sons, Kevin, David and Kerry, three of hte biggest stars in the world of wrestling. Little did anyone know that just as the Von Erichs and World Class were reaching worldwide stardom they would begin a downfall that would cast a full eclipse on their meteoric rise to fame. Directed by Brian Harrison who, as a ten year old in 1983, watched on television as wrestling's world of staged combat between good and evil took a sharp turn into a surreal and tragic reality.

Ric Flair goes toe-to-toe against Vader for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship inside the Thundercage. Sting, Brian Pillman & Dustin Rhodes join forces to take on "Stunning" Steve Austin, Rick Rude & Paul Orndorff inside the Thundercage. Cactus Jack & Maxx Payne battle The Nasty Boys for the WCW Tag Team Championships and much more.

WCW Clash of The Champions XVIII took place on January 21, 1992 at The Expo Center in Topeka, Kansas. There were 5,500 fans in attendance and the show drew a 3.7 rating on TBS. This event was a set-up for SuperBrawl II and saw the WCW debut of Jesse "The Body" Ventura. It was originally scheduled as Brian Pillman & The Patriots vs. The Diamond Studd & The Young Pistols.

Clash of the Champions XIX took place on June 16, 1992 in Charleston, South Carolina at the McAlister Field House of The Citadel. The event aired on TBS on June 22, 1992. There were 4600 fans in attendance and the show drew a 2.8 rating on TBS.
