An adaptation of Oscar Wilde's prose. The story of a child found in the forest, who was taken in by a poor woodcutter's family. The boy grew up to be a handsome but arrogant and selfish young man. One day, a beggar woman arrived in the village claiming to be his real mother. The boy banished her from the village, unable to accept the fact that he was the son of a woman of such low status. With time, however, he realized the cruelty of his actions and decided to find her and ask for forgiveness.

Jurek Kiler has become a VIP - sponsoring the Polish government, playing tennis with the President, meeting world leaders. He must oversee a transfer of a substantial amount of gold. However, in his past activities, he has made enemies. Mighty ones. And thus Jurek Kiler's next adventure begins as he has to face attempts at kidnapping, assassinations and problems in his love life...

An innocent cab driver is mistaken for a contract killer and imprisoned. Soon, he is sprung by a mob boss who needs a "killer" for a few more jobs.

Polish businessman Jarek Branicki organizes a beauty pageant. As the man in charge, he expects his girlfriend to win it and suggests this outcome to the judges. At the same time, however, he is on the verge of bankruptcy and tries to escape the country after being cornered by his creditors. Recognized by a passenger on the train, he flees and finds refuge in the underground passages of Warsaw’s central railway station.

A Chicago cop goes to Poland to get the hoods who killed his brother. When he finds out they belong to the local outfit of the Russian mob, he takes on the outfit's boss, as well as Dr. Lem, who handles illegal organ trade for the mob.

A moral and satirical story created in a truly Mrozkovian style. The title character is a morbidly shy neighborhood caretaker. He leads a modest, peaceful life.... until his affliction entangles him in a chain of absurd political intrigues.
