When Daantje was a withdrawn child, her mother told him that somewhere there was a girl waiting for him who danced beautifully. As an adult, Daantje is a lonely homeless person who happens to meet the former ballerina, Natasha. At first, the woman does not pay much attention to Daantje – the young man is a bit strange. Besides, Natasha has emotional hardships in her relationships. Then an event occurs that makes her want to return to her homeland immediately. Daantje goes with her.

As the whole country is preparing for the World Cup, all characters are confronted with the Dutch ‘Orange Fever’, which seems to either bring them closer together, or drift them apart.

The new academic year for student corps H.S.C. Mercurius with a huge enrollment party. Perpetual student Olivier de Ruyter gets into a minor conflict with the police, who are fed up with the nuisance Mercurius is causing in the neighborhood. Meanwhile, lawyer Bram Wagtmans is nostalgic for student life and decides to go all out with his friends at the club that evening, for the last time. First-year students and best friends Elias and Lieve also attend the party. Lieve is the ideal sorority girl, while Elias is only at the party because he is in love with Lieve. These are the ingredients for an evening that will get completely out of hand.

Casey is a student teacher who gets his very first placement in class 5b. He is not sure how to teach yet, but thankfully the children are more than willing to help him.

Isa and her older brother Kars' parents change course and start a campsite in France. Isa and Kars feel like they are moving to Timbuktu and losing everything. Fortunately, they don't complain for long, because they soon make new friends. But while new friendships blossom, Camping Timbuktu runs into trouble. Not far from them, another campsite has opened, and its unsympathetic owner tries to damage Camping Timbuktu in every way possible. It even looks like the campsite will have to close... Will Isa and Kars manage to keep Timbuktu open?
