Possessed of an incredible artistic talent, Steve Rude is "The Dude," an eccentric personality as colorful as his comic book art. Filmmaker Ian Fischer (Magritte Moment) presents Rude's rise through the comic book world and difficult transition from comic book shops to art gallery walls, made all the more challenging by Rude's battles with mental illness.

Disturbing and expressionistic images tell the tale of one man's terrifing struggle against the demons that stimulate his creative impulses.

Brad keeps having visions of a stranger, and possibly his own death. These visions slowly start to become true as the stranger appears to Brad, while being chased by a band of militia men who are seeking revenge after the stranger kills one of their friends in self-defense. Brad slowly starts to realize who the stranger is as they fight against the militia men. The movie is interwoven into the comic book, Red Rocket 7.

Holden and Banky are comic book artists. Everything is going good for them until they meet Alyssa, also a comic book artist. Holden falls for her, but his hopes are crushed when he finds out she's a lesbian.
