Three years after “Julius Caesar,” director Shintaro Mori and actress Yoko Yoshida reunite for a production of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet Q1,” the original version, with a new translation by Kazuko Matsuo. This condensed version, about half the length of the F1 version, focuses on a more streamlined narrative. Mori, praised for his 2021 “Julius Caesar,” directs this tale of justice and revenge within the Danish royal family. Yoshida, who won the 56th Kinokuniya Theatre Award for her role in “Julius Caesar,” portrays Hamlet with depth. The cast includes Ito Mari, Makishima Teru, Otsuru Saku, Hirooka Yuriko, and Yoshida Eiji, offering a fresh take on “Hamlet Q1.”

After going to extremes to cover up an accident, a corrupt cop's life spirals out of control when he starts receiving threats from a mysterious witness.

Naomi Kishi who has a habit of self-harm, grew up with a mother with an abnormally strong desire for control and was profoundly ill. Naomi's relationship with her mother became unbearable, and she fled her parents' home. She goes to a downtown area where her mother is out of sight. She is caught when she enters an old-fashioned coffee shop, eats and drinks without paying. However, the coffee shop manager does not take her to task and even offers her a place to live. She begins living in a shared house in the downtown area, and gradually regains her true self through contact with unique people she has never met before in her life.

Sachie Kitahara is a housewife and she has devoted her life to her family. Mako Goda is a wealthy woman who runs a business. They are both diagnosed with terminal illnesses and are told they only have a short time left to live. These two women from completely different walks of life meet at the hospital. They both feel emptiness in their lives. They happen to get a 12-year-old's written bucket list. Sachie Kitahara and Mako Goda decide to carry out the girl's wish list and they begin to feel happiness entering their lives.

Three patients of different backgrounds, illnesses and stages are being treated at a psychiatric clinic in Nagano Prefecture. Their cases range from the criminal to merely asocial. That should be that, but soon matters take a darker turn when a corpse turns up and a murder has occurred. The culprit fingered is one of the patients.
