Ah Sun of the drama society leads a dramatic private life off-stage as well as on. His ex-wife Kong loses her last cent in business; and after going bankrupt is left without a place to stay. As she is entitled to own half of Ah Sun's house, she moves back. Ching, Sun's girlfriend, is determined to show who's the mistress. Her exaggerated actions embarrass Kong, and Kong soon has a chance to hit back. Ah Sun's rich aunt returns for a visit and has not been told about their divorce...

Eddie (Donnie Yen) is a young man good at both fighting and breakdancing. His cousin Stella (May Lo) has a crush on him, but apparently he loves someone else. Eddie creates trouble when he tries to help out Mini (Yuen Woo-Ping), a hawker whose business is confiscated by the cops. Mini ends up moving in with Stella, Eddie, and his sister (Wong Wan-Si), leading to possible romance as the mismatched couples struggle to get by beneath the same roof. But a powerful fighter named Power (Dick Wei) admires Eddie's skills, and challenges him to a duel. Eddie refuses, so Power kidnaps Stella to get his way. With no choice remaining Eddie, decides to meet Power for a showdown.

An acrobatic country hick is forced flee his village after injuring a wealthy socialite during an innocent competition. Fresh off the boat, he runs into a struggling football team who discover his talents.

This very strange movie shows the sort of thing Yuen Woo-ping will do when he is left to his own designs and imagination. Even strange for him, this movie involves vampires, huge monster toads, and drunk monks. For some of the effects puppets were used, including a very creepy/realistic dummy version of the Drunk Monk. The fight scenes are very creative and show off Yuen Woo-ping's weird sense of style and choreography.

Ah-fei and Dragon, students under the brother kung-fu masters Shorty and Uncle, are sent to clear the ghosts out of a haunted house. After a brief search, they soon find that the "ghosts" are nothing but props set up by a couple of con artists. After making quick work of the cheats, the fighting pair discover that there is actually a real ghost hiding in the house! Ah-fei and Dragon may have studied their martial arts well, but how do you beat up something that's already dead?

In Hong Kong, Circa 1940s, World War II, private detective Yoyo and friend Inspector Teddy Robin join a resistance group during the Japanese occupation. They aim to steal back the formula to the atomic bomb from a war traitor and transfer it to an American before the formula ends up in the Japanese emperor's hands.

Two elderly Taoist priests, Chi Men and Dun Jai, who learn their magic from the same teacher always quarrel with each other. They provide mirth and expert kung fu tuition to young man who is mistakenly presumed to be the crown prince of the Imperial Court, missing since childhood. The emperor dispatches an eunuch with the magic powers to apprehend the young man. But he must first deal with Chi Men and Dun Jia who are the young man's protector.

This is a powerful, yet fictionalized life story of Huo Yuan Chia, a real kung fu master in Southern China who brought respect to the populace and allowed kung fu to be taught to all Chinese during a time of revolt and low morale in the country's history.
