50 years ago the Swedish progressive indie group Nationalteatern was founded. They were young, radical and wanted to change the world through youth theater and rock music.

Damorkestern was an all female band that was the house band of Kurt Olsson. In this documentary we get to follow them on their tour bus and interviews with the members are mixed with performances by the band.

How did Kurt become who he was? Why was he never elected class monitor? When did Arne come into the picture? And what happened when this dynamic duo did their military service? And Gudrun, who does she really like best? You'll find the answers in the film about Kurtan. Kurtan seems to have his fingers in everything... from the shipyard crisis to the switch to right-hand traffic... and somehow everything seems to go wrong...
