After closing the small factory he inherited from his father, Teru finds himself abandoned by his wife and child. Having lost his purpose in life, he scrapes by doing day labor when he reunites with Hiroshi, who remains as innocent as ever. Hiroshi, who runs a “trouble-shooting service” traveling from place to place, invites Teru to become his partner.
