Set in Argentina in 1965, the story follows the tumultuous relationship between two men who became lovers and ultimately ruthless bank robbers in a notoriously famous footnote in the annals of crime history. After a large-scale hold-up that turns bloody, the two men must flee. It is not long before the police are surrounding the building they are in and they must confront their demons to survive.

Alfredo loses his job as a film critic after twenty years working for the same newspaper. His work mates have been trying to help him for a year because he is always drunk and angry, and his reviews have become sloppy. The cause: his wife and daughters have abandoned him and she is now living with Pablo, a famous artist. Alfredo wants to get his family back at any cost and tries to find out some terrible secrets about his new enemy to discredit him before Claudia...

Four independent short stories but they have in common that they happen in Buenos Aires during legislative elections. A candidate for deputy, Carlos Celestini floods the city with his image and can be seen in each of the stories.

Soledad, a girl tired of being a taxi driver in Buenos Aires, travels with her car to Patagonia. She stops in a village whose inhabitants live in isolation and their only contact with the outside world is a cinema where old films are projected.

This drama is based on a novel and incomplete screenplay by the late Maria Luis Bemberg. In 1930s Argentina, wealthy Sebastian (Antonio Birabent) leaves his Buenos Aires home for the family estate on the pampas. His family, concerned for his physical and mental health, arranges for Sebastian's childhood friend Juan (Walter Quiroz) to check on Sebastian's situation. Juan finds the highly erratic Sebastian caught in a doomed relationship with the Danish daughter of religious sect members. Unfortunately, Juan also becomes obsessed with the young woman, and Sebastian's suspicions increase.

This is Buenos Aires, its characters, its history, its reality. A complex movie for a complex city, depicted in the character's language, and in their relationship with the present and the past
