Look forward to a fantastic show, where this year's hosts, Carsten Bang and Jesper Juhl, together with a string of the country's comedians, will mark 25 years with a historic anniversary show on December 27 at Musikhuset Aarhus, December 29 at Royal Arena, and January 8, 2018, at The Comedy Store in London. For the fifth year in a row, the proceeds will go to Save the Children and the organization's humanitarian work for refugee children. Comedy Aid 2011

In 1995, Carsten Bang, Jakob Petterson, and Thomas Wivel went on air on ZTV with a project that would later prove to have a decisive influence on their lives and stand-up careers. The three comedians started out experimenting with the talk show "Nu forstår jeg ingenting" (Now I don't understand anything) and then crystallized the best ideas from the talk show into the comedy show "Det' Jo Løgn" (It's a lie). Det' Jo Løgn is the first comedy created by the new generation of comedians in Denmark. Classic comedy was mixed with surreal twists in the borderland between the somewhat understandable and the completely hazy – and out of this sprang a highly remarkable cast of characters. Who doesn't remember The Vendelbo, the angry man at the pub, and Frank? Characters who have since gone viral on YouTube, where thousands of viewers have clicked their way through the absurdities.

On a routine voyage, a spaceship from the distant future lands on the remains of planet Earth, which, after a long ice age, is deserted and covered in snow. The two descendants of the now extinct human race (Martin Brygmann and Xenia Lach-Nielsen) hesitantly go ashore, but they fumble around so much that they fall into a crevasse. At the bottom of it, they find a treasure chest of films from "the good old days" and, through the film reels, they suddenly experience crazy situations performed by the very mysterious and not entirely ordinary human race.
